About this project.

This project really focused on the finer points, from the custom kitchen cabinetry and high-gloss wall cabinets to the integrated wine fridge, floating sideboard, and full-height fireplace feature.

Custom Kitchen Cabinetry

The kitchen perimeter and base cabinets feature Merit Kitchens Ice House cabinetry in maple with an Acorn stain.

For the wall cabinets, we opted for Merit Tofino cabinetry in MDF with a Frost high-gloss finish. This combination brings together warm stained maple cabinetry and a clean, glossy upper cabinet finish for a contemporary kitchen design.

High-Gloss Wall Cabinets

For the kitchen wall cabinets, we incorporated an invisible handle design by extending the doors 1.75 inches below the cabinet case.

To maintain a seamless look, we also finished the underside of these cabinets with high-gloss panels.

Countertops & Full-Height Backsplash

The kitchen countertops and full-height backsplash feature Hanstone “Calacatta Mont.”

This creates a clean, continuous surface that works well with the Acorn-stained maple cabinets and Frost high-gloss wall cabinetry.

Floating Sideboard & Wine Fridge

We also included a floating sideboard near the dining table, which will be perfect for storing china and glassware.

The Sub-Zero wine fridge was integrated seamlessly with a custom door panel.

Fireplace Built-Ins & Granite Column

The fireplace built-ins feature Merit Icehouse cabinetry in maple with an Acorn stain, matching the kitchen perimeter and base cabinets.

The fireplace design extends all the way to the ceiling and features a striking full-height column of natural granite, which also houses the TV.
