For this kitchen renovation, the goal was to create a space that felt fresh, functional, inviting, and full of character.

This kitchen design features beautifully crafted blue cabinetry, bright quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and warm wood accents that bring balance and warmth to the overall look. The result is a kitchen that feels polished and practical, while still offering a welcoming atmosphere for everyday living.

Blue Kitchen Cabinetry

The cabinetry was built by Merit Kitchens using the Beckham flat door style, giving the space a clean and timeless look with a subtle contemporary feel.

Finished in Blue Lagoon, the cabinetry adds personality and colour without overwhelming the room. The soft blue tone works especially well with the natural wood flooring and exposed wood beam, creating a kitchen that feels both bright and grounded.

Functional Layout & Appliance Integration

This kitchen was designed with functionality in mind, offering a practical layout that supports both cooking and entertaining.

A stainless steel range and fridge bring durability and convenience to the space, while the microwave is built into the cabinetry for a more streamlined appearance. The large island and surrounding countertop areas provide plenty of workspace, storage, and room for gathering.

Quartz Countertops

For the countertops, we used HanStone Tranquility quartz. Its crisp white surface helps brighten the kitchen and pairs beautifully with the Blue Lagoon cabinetry.

The clean, understated movement in the quartz adds elegance without competing with the cabinetry colour, making it an ideal choice for this design.

Details & Finishing Touches

A combination of glass-front upper cabinets, sleek hardware, and a farmhouse-style apron sink helps give this kitchen its unique personality.

Under-cabinet lighting adds warmth and function, while the exposed wood beam and hardwood flooring soften the overall look and bring a comfortable, lived-in feel to the space.
