About this project.

For this new build, the homeowners had a very specific vision for their kitchen. Instead of wall cabinetry, we built floating shelves in the alcoves around the sink and range, keeping the space open while still adding functional storage and display areas.

Custom Dark Maple Cabinetry

The base cabinetry is Lectus “Beckham,” featuring solid maple doors stained Espresso. This finish is a very dark brown that reads almost black, giving the kitchen a bold, refined look.

The refrigerator is built in with custom panels, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the surrounding cabinetry.

Floating Shelves & Glass Details

With no wall cabinetry in the kitchen, the floating shelves help define the alcoves around the sink and range.

We also sourced pitted glass for the cabinets to match the glass in the light fixtures, tying the finer design details together throughout the space.

Quartz Countertops & Full-Height Backsplash

The kitchen countertops are Silestone “Eternal Marfil,” a warm quartz with light copper veining.

Behind the range, we used the same quartz as a full-height backsplash, creating a clean, continuous surface that adds warmth and visual interest against the dark cabinetry.
