Cabinet Knobs

Materials & Finishes

About

Knobs are small hardware pieces that attach to the face of a cabinet door or drawer. They are usually round, square, or decorative and are grasped with one or two fingers. Knobs are ideal for smaller or lighter doors and add charm and detail to traditional, cottage, or classic kitchens. They work well when you want subtle, non-intrusive hardware.

Best Uses for Cabinet Knobs

Recommended for:

  • Small to medium kitchens
  • Traditional, cottage, or classic styles
  • Cabinets where subtle hardware is preferred

Not typically recommended for:

  • Large heavy drawers or doors
  • High-traffic kitchens requiring larger grips
  • Modern or minimalist designs needing linear hardware

Pros:

  • Easy to clean due to minimal surface area
  • Soft visual profile; doesn’t clutter small kitchens
  • Adds a classic or vintage touch

Cons:

  • Smaller grip area; can be awkward if hands are full
  • Can loosen more easily over time than pulls
  • Close placement may interfere with fingers or clothing
